About Me
You might wonder why my business name is Swissclick Photography when I am based out of Alberta, Canada. Well, I was born and raised in Effretikon, a small town near Zurich, Switzerland. In my early twenties I moved to Calgary, Alberta after I met the love of my life on a cruise to Alaska – and yes, we are still together, now married with two beautiful kids.
In 2016, during my second maternity leave, my husband surprised me with my first ever DSLR camera for Christmas and to my surprise the camera wasn’t as easy to use as my old point and shoot camera - lol.
I decided to take a couple of beginner photography classes and I was hooked. I went out shooting almost daily hunting for leading lines and interesting subjects, practicing long exposures and at the same time learning to appreciate the beautiful nature around me. Soon enough regular family trips to the Banff National Park became our new norm.
Over the past couple of years I have received many requests regarding other photography services and that’s how I expanded from Landscape Photography into Portraits, Weddings, Mountain Tours, Workshops as well as Commercial work.
